We get this question frequently. Tree care costs depend on many different factors including what needs to be done, what equipment is needed, how many days it may take, and what the surroundings look like. For example, a tree that needs to be cut down in a wooded area and left to decay would be less expensive than the same tree being removed from a backyard between a pool, fence, and deck and needing to be craned out over the home. Ultimately, scheduling an appointment with us will answer this question. 

Yes! We are both licensed and fully insured. Some areas require permits, which we will obtain prior to your job. And we are proud to say that in 18 years of business, we have never submitted an insurance claim. 

Typically appointments are held on Fridays, but we can accommodate most people's schedules. 

Tree care is often seasonal, with spring and fall being busier than winter and summer, which leads to variable wait times. However, based on how critical the need, we are constantly adjusting and making room for emergency/emergent situations to ensure that our customers and their properties are safe. Typical wait times are 1-3 weeks in the off seasons, and 4-8 weeks during the busy seasons, with priority given to dangerous or life threatening situations. We will contact you 1-2 weeks beforehand to schedule exact dates and times. Sometimes these are flexible and sometimes they are not, as when we contract with a crane company. However, we will do our best to get your job scheduled as quickly as we are able!

We accept cash and checks made out to Upstate Arborists. You may use a credit card through Venmo, but the credit card's fees will be added to your total by Venmo. We do not have the ability to accept credit cards any other way.
